SFL

In 2009 Orion acquired from a lender a strategic share position in the shares of the listed SIIC Société Fonciere Lyonnais('SFL'), whose stock was trading at a discount to net asset value with a favourable dividend yield. SFL owned a portfolio of high-quality central Paris office buildings totalling 391,000 sqm located primarily in Golden Triangle. Orion chaired SFL's Strategy Committee which implemented restructuring and management changes to help reposition SFL as a more active market player and accessed the low-cost public debt markets. The share position was successfully sold to Qatar Holding In 2014.
