50 Victoria Embankment was acquired by Orion fully vacant in 2012. Working together with Quadrant Estates, Orion created an extensive redevelopment programme for the former law firm headquarters, rebranding the building as Carmelite Riverside. Designed by Fletcher Priest Architects, the refurbished building has BREEAM Excellent accreditation and spectacular roof terrace overlooking the Thames. Orion successfully pre-leased the entire building to publishing company Hachette as their new UK headquarters, and the asset was pre-sold to China Overseas Land and Investment.
